Loyale Terms of Use
Last updated: 5 November 2026
Who these terms are between
Us. Loyale is operated by Loyale Programming and Graphic Design W.L.L, a limited liability company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain under Commercial Registration number 135962-1. In these terms, "Loyale", "we" and "us" mean that company.
You. "You" means whoever uses the Loyale app.
Merchants. The shops, cafés and restaurants that take part in Loyale are called merchants. They are independent businesses: Loyale does not own, run or supervise them. Loyale is not their agent, except that it collects payment for them when you pay for an order in the app (section 6).
Accepting these terms. You accept these terms by creating a Loyale account and using the app. If you do not accept them, do not use Loyale.
Contact. For anything in these terms — a question, a complaint, a dispute — write to info@loyaleapp.co or message +973 3933 1996 on WhatsApp.
1. What is not yet switched on
- Gift cards are not switched on. We will publish their terms before they are.
2. Your account
One account per person, tied to your mobile number. You sign in with a code we send by SMS or, sometimes, by email. Keep your phone, your number and your email secure — anyone who can receive your codes can reach your account and your balance.
Give us information that is true. If your mobile number changes, tell us, so your balance does not become unreachable.
You must be 13 or over to hold a Loyale account.
3. Stamps and cash credit — how they work
Each merchant has one loyalty card in Loyale, on one of these schemes, chosen by the merchant:
- Stamp card. A stamp card is defined by two numbers, both set by the merchant: the stamps to collect, which are the empty stamps, and the stamps to redeem, each of which carries a reward. Together they make up the card — for example, 7 stamps to collect and 3 stamps to redeem make a card of 10 stamps. You collect stamps on qualifying purchases and redeem each reward when you reach it.
- Cash credit. A share of what you spend at the merchant comes back to you as credit to use at that merchant. Credit is shown in Bahraini Dinars so you can see what it is worth.
- Tier card. Cash credit that gives back more as your total spend at the merchant reaches each tier.
- Tiered stamp card. Each tier has its own stamp card, and you reach the next tier by completing the number of cards the merchant sets.
A tier you reach is yours to keep. On a tier card or a tiered stamp card, the first tier applies from your first visit, and once you reach a tier you keep it and never move down — even when rewards expire, balances restart or the merchant changes its card. We may correct a tier reached through a cancelled or fraudulent transaction, or by mistake.
Paid membership. Some merchants charge a one-time fee for their card. You pay it to the merchant, in person, and you collect on that card only after paying. Loyale does not receive the fee. Your membership lasts as long as the merchant's card is on Loyale, with no renewal, and any refund of the fee is between you and the merchant.
The merchant sets the rules, and the merchant honours the reward. What earns stamps or credit, what they are worth, what a reward is, and whether an offer excludes certain items — all of that is the merchant's. Loyale records it and runs the mechanism.
4. The important limits on stamps and credit
Please read this section. It is the part people are most often surprised by.
- Stamps and credit cannot be turned into money. Credit is not money, a deposit or a wallet: you can only use it at the merchant that gave it. Neither stamps nor credit can be exchanged for money, and we will not buy them back. (Loyale credit from Loyale Streak is different: see section 7.)
- They are not your property and they are not a deposit. They are a record of an entitlement to a reward from a merchant, under that merchant's rules.
- They are personal to you. They cannot be sold or transferred, except through a gift feature inside the app where one exists.
- They can expire, where the merchant's rules say so and where that rule was shown to you.
- A deadline we tell you about is final. When we tell you, in the app, by notification or by message, that stamps, credit or rewards will expire or end on a date, anything you have not used by that date is lost and is not given back.
- Deleting your account ends your stamps and credit. They cannot be reinstated afterwards. We will tell you this clearly before deleting anything.
- A merchant's card changes only with 30 days' notice to you in the app, unless the change corrects a mistake. Our message gives the date the new card starts. Until then you can use what you hold, including rewards you have earned. Anything you have not used by that date is lost when the new card starts, and is not given back.
- If a merchant leaves Loyale, we tell you in the app. You can use your stamps, credit and rewards with that merchant for 30 days after our message, and its card stays in the app for those 30 days. After that, anything you have not used is lost. (Loyale Streak rewards for that merchant can be used only while it takes orders in the app: see section 7.)
- We may correct a balance that is wrong. Where stamps or credit were awarded by mistake, by a fault in our systems, or through misuse, we may reverse them. Where we do, we will tell you why.
5. Redeeming
Redemption happens at the merchant, at the point of sale. You show the app, the merchant confirms it, and the reward is given by the merchant. Loyale Streak rewards are used on orders in the app instead (section 7).
The reward is the merchant's obligation. Loyale records the entitlement and makes it visible; the merchant supplies the food, drink, product or service, and owes you every reward you validly hold, on the conditions shown in the app when you earned it. If a merchant refuses a reward you believe you are entitled to, tell us at info@loyaleapp.co. We will take it up with them, and we may give you that reward or its value ourselves.
6. Orders placed in the app
Some merchants let you place an order through Loyale. Where they do:
- Your contract for the goods is with the merchant, not with Loyale. The merchant prepares and supplies what you ordered, sets the price, and is responsible for its quality, its accuracy and its safety.
- Loyale passes the order to the merchant and shows you its status. Where a merchant uses a till system such as Foodics, the order reaches that system.
- A merchant can reject or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable or the branch is closing. You are told when that happens.
- How you pay. You pay at the counter or, where the merchant offers it, in the app. When you pay in the app, Loyale (Loyale Programming and Graphic Design W.L.L.) collects the payment for the merchant, as its agent, in the merchant's name and for its account. The merchant is still the seller; Loyale does not sell you the order and does not act for you. Once you have paid in the app, you owe the merchant nothing more for that order. Your card statement may show the payment as made to Loyale.
- Your card details go straight to our payment provider. Loyale never receives your full card number or security code. If you need an order's payment reference, for example for your bank, ask us and we will give it to you.
- Refunds of orders paid in the app follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Loyale Streak rewards can be used on an order in the app (section 7).
7. Loyale Streak
- When this section applies. Only once Loyale Streak is switched on and the app shows it to you. We decide when it starts. Until then, there is nothing to earn or use.
- What it is. Loyale Streak is run by Loyale, and the app shows it as Loyale rewards. The app shows the current programme: how it works and how many orders each step needs. Some rewards may be offered by a merchant or with its support.
- What counts. Only orders you place in the app and that the merchant completes count, one order per merchant per day. Visits at a merchant's counter and orders placed on a web page do not count, even when you collect stamps or credit on them. A cancelled order does not count. If an order is refunded in full after it was completed, we may take it off your count, and take back a reward earned only because of that order if you have not used it.
- Your run. Your run lasts 30 days from your first counted order. When it ends, your next counted order starts a new run, with your count back at the start, on the programme the app shows then.
- Rewards are a surprise. What you get at each step stays a surprise until you earn it.
- Kinds of reward. A reward may be a free item at one merchant, or Loyale credit, either for one merchant or for any merchant the app shows as accepting it.
- Using your rewards. Rewards are used only on orders in the app, never at a counter. Each reward lasts the number of days set for it, and the app shows you the date it ends. You can use Loyale credit over several orders until it runs out. A reward for one merchant can be used only while that merchant takes orders in the app, and a free item only while that item can be ordered. If that merchant is not taking orders when you reach the step, you get the reward once it does; if that has not happened soon after your run ends, the reward lapses.
- If an order is cancelled or refunded. If an order you used a reward on is cancelled or refunded in full, the reward comes back to you and can be used until its original date. If only part of an order is refunded, what you paid is refunded first: Loyale credit comes back only for any part of the refund larger than what you paid, and a free item does not come back.
- No cash value. These rewards, including Loyale credit, have no cash value: they cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to anyone else or withdrawn. An unused reward is lost when its date passes, and deleting your account ends your rewards.
- If a merchant does not honour a reward, tell us at info@loyaleapp.co. We will take it up with them, and we may give you that reward or its value ourselves.
- Changes and misuse. We may change, pause or end Loyale Streak and its rewards, and the programme may change from one run to the next. A reward on offer may be withdrawn at any time, including when a merchant stops taking part; otherwise the steps of a run you have started do not change. Rewards you have already earned stay valid until their date, on the conditions above. We may cancel rewards gained through misuse, fraud or orders that break these terms; we will tell you why, and you can respond.
8. Fair use
Do not use Loyale to defraud a merchant or us. That includes creating multiple accounts to claim an offer more than once, claiming stamps or credit for purchases that did not happen, using someone else's account, exploiting a fault in the app instead of reporting it, or reselling rewards.
Where we find it, we may suspend or close your account and reverse the balance obtained that way. We will tell you what we found and you can respond.
9. What we promise, and what we do not
We do our best to keep Loyale working. We do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may suspend it for maintenance, and we will keep that as short as we can.
We may change or discontinue features, including a merchant's participation, an offer, or a mechanism. Where a change would take away something you have already earned, we will tell you before it takes effect, so you can use it before then.
What we are not responsible for. The quality, safety or legality of anything a merchant sells you; a merchant's decision to leave Loyale or change its offer; or a loss you suffer because your phone or your mobile number was compromised.
Our liability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability to you in connection with Loyale is limited to the value of the stamps and credit on your account at the time the issue arose or, for an order you paid for in the app, the amount you paid for it.
Your statutory rights are untouched. Nothing here reduces any right you have under the Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 35 of 2012) or any other law of Bahrain.
10. Suspending or closing an account
You can close your account at any time, in the app or by writing to us. Remember that closing it ends your stamps and credit.
We may suspend or close an account where these terms are broken, where we reasonably suspect fraud, or where the law requires it. Except where we are legally prevented, we will tell you why and you can respond.
11. Privacy
What we collect and what happens to it is set out in the Loyale Privacy Policy. It forms part of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We will change these terms as Loyale changes — in particular before gift cards are switched on. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app or by message before it takes effect.
13. Law and disputes
Tell us first. Most problems are settled in a message. Write to info@loyaleapp.co and a person will read it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the courts of Bahrain have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
